Not everyone is desperate or unhappy in their current position, so it’s no surprise that many are simply open-minded…keen to explore other opportunities and compare alternative career paths with their current one.
And that’s absolutely fine ✅.
Of course, I never arrange interviews that don’t carry a strong likelihood of resulting in an offer the candidate would be excited to accept.
Right now, in the HVACR, BMS, and Cooling sectors, high-performing professionals are treated like champion racehorses 🏇.

People who are happy and thriving aren’t queuing up to run the interview gauntlet elsewhere, especially when the best-case offer is only a modest 5-10% salary increase.
